Brandee J, a San Diego native, has always been a protector and advocate for those whose voices are overlooked. Despite facing weight shaming and battling eating disorders as a child, she found resilience and self-acceptance with the unwavering support of her grandmother.
Her determination led her to earn a bachelor’s degree in Business Management while working full-time and becoming a mother at 21. In 2015, Brandee became Executive Editor of Manik Magazine and founded NWFW+, the first plus-size fashion show during New York Fashion Week. She later launched Luxe Kurves Magazine, a luxury lifestyle magazine for curvy women of color that featured notable celebrities and changemakers.
In 2018, she debuted The Brandee J Show on YouTube, inspiring others to be authentic and fearless in pursuing their dreams. After a brief hiatus, she returned in 2024 with Brandee J Lifestyle, a brand dedicated to helping individuals live life on their own terms through travel, healthy relationships, motivation, and more.
But her vision grew bigger than lifestyle—Brandee turned her passion toward sports, founding J Impact Marketing & Management Agency. With J Impact, she is rewriting the rules by creating her own table in the world of sports, dedicated to amplifying and elevating women athletes through strategic branding, sponsorships, media visibility, and community impact.
Her mission is clear: to carve out space where women athletes are not only seen and heard, but celebrated, supported, and invested in. Brandee J continues to be a force of authenticity, empowerment, and transformation—a breath of fresh air and a movement you’ll want to be part of.
